The Mid-America Regional Council (Kan./Mo.) has formed a task force to focus on a grant application that would fund Phase III of the region’s interoperability plan. The money could come be $1 billion in funds allocated through the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, and would require 20% matching from local governments.
