A story in the News & Observer (NC) recalls the 911 calls made in connection with the massive drug overdose of a 16 year-old girl in the town of Cary last October. A teen friend dialed 911, but when the dispatcher answered, he claimed that his little sister had dialed 911 by mistake. The prosecutor is using the logging tapes to justify charging the teen as an adult in the girl’s death. Read the story and listen to the tapes here.
