The London (UK) Assembly has issued a report on last year’s subway terrorist bombing from an emergency preparedness point-of-view, and notes that emergency services still cannot talk to each other underground by radio. The report cites several examples of mis-communication leading to delays during the incident, and how the cellular system was overloaded.
