The veteran Web site 1-800-Volunteer.org has spun off a new program for pre-registering volunteers in anticipation of this year’s hurricane season. The on-site registration process includes typing in your name and location, and your skills and availability. Point potential volunteers with communications skills to their Web site for sign-up.
