Paramedic’s Decision

During an arbitration hearing this week, Clearwater (Fla.) paramedic Trevor Murray explained why he didn’t respond after dispatchers sent his EMS unit to a medical incident back in March 2005. A woman who had chronically dialed 911 before called this time to report she had been raped. Murray decided not to respond, and explained his decision this week during a 9-hour arbitration hearing to get his job back. Read the full story here.
