New CAD Version

InterAct Public Safety Systems has announced Version 5.8 of the computer-aided dispatch software that, according to a press release, maintains the flexibility and efficiency of the original system, but, “takes it one step further by offering several new features and improvements to provide users state-of-the-art technology to assist with receiving and managing emergency calls and dispatching them to the appropriate public safety personnel.” Several fields have been expanded and enhanced, including multi-media that can be attached to a CAD incident, such as maps, photos or audio files.
