AMBER Alert Question

Atlanta (Geo.) police admit that a calltaker did not properly handle information from a man who dialed 911 in resopnse to seeing a vehicle and suspect matching an AMBER Alert broadcast. The man noticed the van, suspicious people and two children before the alert was issued. When he saw the alert and that it matched what he had seen, he called police. However, the Atlanta PD dispatcher said he had to meet with an officer in person, and eventually gave him a telephone number to call, which led to voicemail. Check the story here.
